Danish musician and composer who specializes in Nordic folk music on various string instruments, mainly the cittern.
Bio
Son of a luthier and a music pedagogue. Born in 1995 and raised in Vanløse, Copenhagen in a home that houses over 300 violins, celli and double basses, Villads picked up various instruments from an early age.
Villads is one of the leading young musicians on the nordic folk scene. He mainly plays the cittern (a 5-course mandola) but also various plucked and bowed instruments, among others: guitar, mandolin, tenor banjo, violin and viola.
He is an active freelance musician and is among others playing in the bands Stundom (fka Elmøe & Hoffmann), Tailcoat, Víík and Penny Pascal.
